When Anger is a Problem

 The 5 stages of anger

  • The first indicator is noticeable in a person’s face

  • The second is a louder voice

  • The third is the use of harsh or foul language

  • The fourth is threats

  • The final stage is the execution of the threats and sometimes violence

Anger is a problem when it becomes uncontrollable. It may spontaneously increase to the level that causes psychological personal distress resulting in permanent physical harm such as heart attacks and strokes. Anger outbursts often ruin our closest relationships. Everyone experiences anger and frustration but it commonly begins with stress. It can then escalate into a serious problem when it results in uncontrollable violence.
